“Hey, Hey, Hey, Goodbye!”

The Confederate flag that’s been flying above the South Carolina Statehouse for 50 years was finally removed for good on the morning of July 10, 2015! A symbol of hatred, racism, and white supremacy for centuries, the flag controversy gained even more momentum after nine churchgoers in Charleston, South Carolina were murdered by a white man just for being Black.
