Jordyn Curet, actress/model/musician/philanthropist, has had quite the past year. She’s stayed giving — be it giving back, serving looks, or delivering performances. Inside our spring issue, she tells us all about it … and then some.
Peep her cover and read an excerpt of her story below:
If her life had a soundtrack, it’d be Taylor Swift’s Midnights album, specifically the songs “Mastermind” and “Karma,” which she keeps on repeat. Fourteen-year-old Jordyn Curet — who plays Shamiah, the adopted daughter of a biracial lesbian couple, on ABC’s Home Economics and also has had roles in everything from last Christmas’s HBO movie Holiday Harmony to 9-1-1 to Raven’s Home to The Neighborhood — explains the bops are just so relatable. “I’m not gonna reveal my secrets on here or anything,” she laughs, “[but] I feel like a lot of actors can relate to [“Karma”].
Not that Jordyn has any need to worry about what’s coming back around; she and karma vibe like that.
