Bria Danielle Singleton is Our Winter ’22 Cover Girl

By Andréa Butler

Bria Danielle Singleton just made her big-screen debut as Bobbi Kristina Brown in the Whitney Houston biopic I Wanna Dance With Somebody. Here, she spills how she landed the part — and lets us in on her life beyond the lights.

Peep her cover and read an excerpt of her story below:

It’s Bria Singleton’s 17th birthday, and she’s kickin’ it with me on this day-before-Christmas-Eve-Zoom for her cover interview — giving “super chill” in a comfy, green sweater and glossy, no-makeup look. That’s not to say she hasn’t been in celebration mode all day, though. In fact, this b’day has been one for the books, you know, with her new movie hitting theaters on the very same date and everything.

And while she’s appeared in other projects like Thunder Force and Fresh Off the Boat and voiced characters on Nickelodeon’s The Loud House and Mariah Carey’s animated movie All I Want for Christmas is You, just to name a couple, her current film is on a whole ‘nother level. “It’s the biggest thing I’ve done,” she says.

No doubt, she’s just getting started.
