“You'll look up and down streets. Look 'em over with care. About some you will say, "I don't choose to go there." With your head full of brains and your shoes full of feet, you're too smart to go down any not-so-good street. And you may not find any you'll want to go down. In that case, of course, you'll head straight out of town.” – Dr Suess’s Oh the Places You’ll Go — Yesterday, my Bestie crossed the stage as Magna Cum Laude with honors. She strutted out and left us all in tears (No literally, I was crying driving to the house thinking about it all). But I couldn’t be more ecstatic for you! I know you’re anxious and nervous because the world isn’t flat, it’s more like a circus, but heaven only knows where you’ll end up! And I know the options are all “big moves!” But the world is at your palms! Just make sure to take a photo or two for every memory! Love you kid! Praying our dreams come true and the success comes quicker than my mom comes to check on us 😂❤️ — BUT Y’ALLLLL!!! GET INTO THIS CAP THOUGH ‼️ If you see this or like this TAG OR @ CHANCE! @chancetherapper @chancetherapper @chancetherapper #BlackGirlsGraduate #ProudBestfriend #ItTakesAVillage #chancetherapper #HerMomShouldHaveBeentheCommencementSpeaker

What do you want to be when you grow up? This question always hit me real hard and often made me wonder why I wasn’t like my brother who knew from an early age he wanted to be a doctor. Or like my cousin who was going to be an engineer. I liked everything and quite possibly hoped to be able to do it all. I came across the word multi-potentialite from a @ted Talk. A multi-potentialite is a person who has many different interests and creative pursuits in life. Multipotentialites have no “one true calling” the way specialists do. This hit me—- I’ve never been able to specialize in one thing because my interest span different careers and avenues. So it only seemed fit to add this word that means so much to me on my grad cap done by @queencreations_ Graduation has come and gone and I might have an idea what I want to be when I grow up but it’s not just one thing… it’s several! 😅. Have you always known what you wanted to be when you grow up?
