The American Ballet Theatre Just Got Its FIRST Black Girl as Principal Dancer

Today, June 30, 2015, Misty Copeland was promoted from soloist to principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre. Even though the Theatre has been around for 75 years, Misty is the FIRST Black girl to ever claim this title, the highest one you can get in the ABT! During the announcement, she was feeling all the feels, as one would after making HISTORY!
