The Black History Month blessings continue to come through. Today, Netflix announced the premier date — and released a trailer — for its new series, Dear White People, based on the groundbreaking 2014 movie of the same name.

Staying true to its big screen inspiration, the trailer opens with college radio personality Samantha White at the mic like, “Dear white people, here’s a list of acceptable Halloween costumes…” Played by Hit the Floor bad girl Logan Browning this go-round, Samantha is joined by other familiar characters, a few of whom hail from the original cast.

Check out the trailer below, and prepare to binge-watch season 1 when it premieres on April 28.
