Making gifs (or as Instagram prefers to call them, “mini videos”) of you and your friends to post on IG just got easier. Yesterday, Insta launched its newest app: Boomerang.

Obviously, we downloaded it to our phones immediately because who can resist turning your selfies into hilariously cute one-second videos or recording your crush walking down the hall toward you, so you can swoon on repeat? (We can’t.) Our first take took a few tries because the window of time you have to capture movement is legit only one second, but we’re hooked!
