A Raisin in the Sun Returns to Broadway

Speaking of Black girls who rock…

Lorraine Hansberry’s iconic play, A Raisin in the Sun, is BACK on Broadway! Fifty-plus years after its original run, this classic — the first ever produced by an African-American woman on Broadway — is bringing it for audiences at the Ethel Barrymore Theater, which is the exact same theater of its debut.

Starring Denzel Washington, Anika Noni Rose, Sophie Okonedo, and Sean Patrick Thomas, to name a few, this revival is a definite must-see.

Don’t live in the NYC area? This is the perfect excuse for a summer road trip with your girls — a graduation gift in the form of a trip to New York? Yes, please! Just be sure to order your tickets ASAP — this show’s only running through June and seats are selling fast!
