What is Sesi Magazine, Anyway?

Think about all of those magazines you have stashed under your bed, piled up on your bookshelf, or hiding in your locker—you know the ones you sneak to read during class (shame on you!) 🙂 . They may be recent, or issues from way back in the day, like…2003. (Personally, I have magazines dating all the way back to 1996. So, I feel you!) I’ve always had somewhat of an obsession with magazines. (Seriously, as a teenager, I couldn’t leave a store without buying at least one!) Still, I felt something was missing. Rarely did I see a Black girl gracing the covers of the magazines I so unfailingly devoured. It was then that I decided that when I grew up, I’d start my own magazine, just for girls like me.

So, here it is…well, the website for it, anyway. 🙂 Be sure to get your subscription to the print mag now!
