Note: Keep in mind that it’s best to run a campaign of ads, as it’s repetition (not ad size) that is the key to a successful campaign. If you choose to run just one ad and don’t renew that ad or don’t return to purchase another after that one runs, be sure you understand that that isn’t going to get you the results you want. Rates are secure for all ads that are contracted for a period of one year (four consecutive issues) in advance.
Submission of this form to the publisher constitutes agreement to the following. The Publisher reserves the right to reject or cancel any ad, space, position, or insertion order at any time for any reason, previously accepted or not, without liability. The Publisher reserves the right to mark any advertisement “Paid Advertisement,” “Advertisement,” or “Advertorial” if, in the judgment of the publisher, it looks like editorial content. Advertisers and advertising agencies agree to submit completed ads or copy and graphics for ads to be designed in-house that are in line with Sesi magazine’s mission (EX: Any people shown in the ads should reflect the magazine’s audience—African-American/Black teen girls). Advertisers and advertising agencies assume liability for all content (including text, representations, and illustrations) of ads printed, and also assume responsibility for any claims arising therefrom. Acceptance of advertising does not relieve advertisers or advertising agencies from liability. If Advertiser fails to pay the rates indicated above, or otherwise breaches this contract, the Publisher has the right to terminate this contract or modify the rate indicated above to the most current rate schedule. Additional penalties may apply according to contract terms. Refunds are available for any cancellation made within one week after space reservation minus a $50.00 processing fee. Changes to ads are not accepted after the closing date. Ads received after the closing deadline are subject to postponement.
The Publisher shall not be subject to any liability whatsoever for any failure to publish or circulate all or any part of an issue due to strikes, work stoppages, accidents, fires, acts of God, or any circumstance not within the control of the Publisher. The Publisher’s liability for any error will not exceed the charge for the advertisement in question. The Publisher is not responsible for the accuracy of any corrections or changes made to any advertiser’s materials. Rates are subject to change without notice. As used on this form, the term “Publisher” and “Sesi Magazine” refers to Sesi Magazine, LLC.
